Q. How does a format franchise work?
In format franchising, the franchisor grants a franchise to another person, such as you, too trade under a trade name or trademark and to make use of an entire business system with continued support on an agreed basis. The person who is granted the franchise, and pays a lump sum and ongoing royalties to obtain it, is known as the franchisee.
