Often, your franchisor will assist you with finding the right kind of location for your franchise. Check the visibility of the location you are considering for your franchise from the road, and the accessibility from local freeways. Is there a no left turn into the location or the complex? If so, this may limit the through traffic to your franchise. Also, is there enough parking at the potential franchise location? What about the building in which you will be setting up your franchise; is there room for expansion, or would you have to move to grow your business? This kind of question needs to be considered alongside your future business plans.
