Q. Should cash flow of franchises be monitored closely?

Cash flow gives the franchise the ability to breathe and to live, so the liquidity ratios should be monitored closely - monthly at least. A deteriorating trend in the current ratio indicates a developing cash flow problem.  Early detection will give the owner time to take corrective action.  As a WSI consultant, you will have the opportunity to help monitor cash flow closely as you work in the “white collar franchise” world, finding the opportunity to work in conjunction with small and medium sized business owners in various cities across the country.
