Often, Subway as your franchisor will assist you with finding the right kind of location for your franchise. At the very least, they will usually give a geographic area and a list of potential locations, but then it’s up to you to do the legwork of going around and looking at them all. Consider the visibility of the location you are considering for your Subway from the road, and the accessibility from local freeways. Is there a no left turn into the location or the complex? If so, this may limit the through traffic to your Subway franchise. Is there enough parking at the potential franchise location?

Also consider the building in which you will be setting up your Subway; is there room for expansion of your franchise, or would you have to move to grow your business? This kind of question needs to be considered alongside your future business plans.
