Q.What are franchise players and a standard franchise agreement?

There is no such thing as a standard franchise agreement. Every franchise agreement needs to be tailored to the specific needs of the business to be franchised. Once a franchise agreement has been drawn up, however, it becomes “standard” for the franchisor’s operation. Not only is it OK to enter into the same agreement with all franchisees, this is in fact highly recommended. It follows that the cost of drafting the agreement is incurred only once, and can be amortized over 3-5 years.
