Full House at WSI Internet Marketing Summit in Toronto

Business owners learn strategies to drive profits via online marketing.

WSI, the world’s leading provider of Internet marketing solutions, organized an Internet Marketing Summit yesterday at the Toronto Congress Centre. The event was geared towards helping local business owners achieve better business results through online marketing during the current economic turmoil. Over 60 plus business owners were in attendance and took away a mix of ideas, strategies, tools and techniques to step up their Internet marketing efforts and increase profits.

The Summit speakers included Doug Schust and Max Kalles, internationally renowned WSI Internet marketing experts, who specialize in search engine marketing and conversion architecture. Joining them as well were Jonathan Zell and Sarah-Jane Morris from iPerceptions and Baltej Gill from Social Mindz, a company with proven expertise in social media optimization. The event was sponsored by MarketingSherpa, a leading research firm and iPerceptions, a renowned analytics company. Other esteemed companies like Dummies Books and Software, Go-To-Meeting, Sandler Training, On Target Solutions and WebEx were among the top sponsors.

Ron McArthur, president of WSI, also present at the Summit said, “Learning how to achieve top positioning for their websites amongst millions with greater brand visibility, especially during the economic slowdown where marketers are careful about their spend – that was possibly the biggest take away for yesterday’s Summit attendees! They can now return to manage their operations with enhanced overall business profitability.”

Speaking to some of the attendees confirmed that the tangible benefits they gained were ways to increase business efficiencies, enhance targeted website traffic and achieve more customer conversions online. Demonstration of practical techniques and case studies were the highlights of each presentation during the Summit and course materials were provided to all attendees. Upon conclusion, all participants received a certificate of participation from WSI.

The Toronto Internet Marketing Summit by WSI covered all areas of Internet marketing, including search engine optimization, pay-per-click, social media techniques and conversion architecture. Part of the proceeds raised from the event are being donated to Make Child Poverty History, a global outreach program geared toward eradicating child poverty.
